Does anyone know where I can buy BG1, the original? If you had asked me this when EE released, i would say get the Original, but now, most mods are working fine: I preferred the original, but that's just me. I own all the IE games on GOG but I've put in nearly 1000 hours on the two EEs on steam and that's not counting IWDEE that I got from Beamdog.
Some people don't mind modding but others don't, so the convience of a single launcher is a positive one.

The enhanced editions have really focussed on a lot of user improvements that aren't available (that I know of anyways) in mods for the original. I like the idea of big sword, small sword instead of having 20 different kinds of swords.
