Strength is unfortunately worthless for bashing since there's very few locks in the game lower then 60 (21 str). It can be used by all classes. If a character has a Strength between 18/01 and 18/50, then his Strength will become 18/50 + original percentage. Bashing allows a strong character to open a locked door or chest by force-attacking it.
