Especially the fact that she spoiler alert killed Candace who was just trying to help her (and get back at Joe, which he deserved), killed Delilah – the hero of season 2, imo, and Forty, her own BROTHER, was shot because of HER.
When I started season 2 I loved Love more than Beck But I guess I’m kinda biased since beck was first. Plus Joe wasn't really into her like he was Beck. OneTwo as for Love, she’s so desperate. So I guess it’s Beck > Love for me although I have to say that I liked Love in the book a whole lot more. Beck could get it any time, love is definitely more three dimensional and interesting than beck, but i like how he dealt with beck more in the first season (lmao creepy) nothing wrong with beck but joe is what made her interesting, Love all day she was cuter and better personality.. beck was kinda annoying at times. I thought she was bland, tried to hard so seem interesting and cool when she wasn’t, a shit writer, whiny, shallow, annoying, etc. She then went on to New York to get her Masters in Fine Arts.

I think her relationship with Joe was much more honest (he didn’t stalk her nearly as much tbh) and equal than that of him and Beck, who he just manipulated the whole time. Joe attempts to convince her that everything he did was to benefit her life and that he was not a bad person. Full of herself, although she pretended not to be, teetering between low self esteem and snobbery, always looking for the easy way out, she was so unlikable (although I think she was intentionally written to be that way). Love is clearly a better and more interesting character. The first episode I didn’t like Love either and thought she was going to end up being a manic pixie dream girl.
Beck posthumously becomes a best-selling author after her memoir is published by Joe, and her literary works are later sold at Joe's book store.

I think the writers are trying to challenge the viewers’ notion of the Victim by presenting who is flawed, boring, and generally unlikable and asking us to empathize with her as a human being nonetheless. I agree, I think the point of beck was that she wasn’t magnificent and filled with flaws and faults. Joe's clingy and jealous behavior pushes Beck away, who tells him that if they don't have trust, they have nothing.
Joe soon becomes her boyfriend and they have an up and down relationship. At first I hated Forthy.
