Follow the road as it swings right and you'll reach the signs for Boarley Cottage. Lovely for seeing birds and other small wildlife, our dogs had a blast with all the different smells. Canfield Walks: Boxley Lane Circular Hiking trail in Great Canfield, England (United Kingdom). Couldn’t believe there was no toilets so ended up having to waddle about 2 miles telling everyone that I had slipped in the mud (it’s boiling, there hasn’t been mud for weeks). The grounds are now private but you can see them from this point and over to the right you'll see the original long abbey barn.
The path continues at a high-level through open countryside for the first few miles with fantastic views the whole way. One of the fields is likely to be holding horses and another holding sheep so take care with dogs. Follow the track which passes to the left of these and pass through a metal kissing gate and bear left to reach a T-junction with Harp Farm Road.
Turn left along the track and after about 300 yards look out for a metal kissing gate in the hedge on the right.
