Also I do feel that it was a little over priced. Plenty of space was raining so was house bound for day but plenty room. Would I return - yes I think I would - the positives outweighed the negatives and I think I would return alone for the food and service in Maxwells and the relaxation of the hotel as a whole combined with a warm welcome and what I felt was good value for money.

What if I don't hear back from the owner. As soon as you drive through the entrance to Farnham Estate and up its long and sweeping driveway you will immediately be filled with a feeling of peace, tranquility and space that cannot fail to capture the spirit of relaxation. Will definitely be back for more delicious food, cocktails and the beautiful views. We recommend you make enquiries directly with the Spa at least 6 weeks prior to your arrival date. The breakfast was excellent and we also dined in Maxwells on one of the nights which was superb.
Areas immediately around the hotel are lovely too but again just a little more attention to detail in the upkeep of the area would make a difference. A special mention to Brian for looking after us so well. My family and I had the pleasure of a short break to the magnificent Farnham Estate & Spa I have stayed before in the hotel which was excellent, on this occasion I stayed in a estate house which was excellent, 5 star all the way !All items you require for a family relaxing break , fully stocked kitchen with high quality delph, cutlery glass wear ( 2 wine openers !) Great time Staff were very friendly only one issue was that there was a wedding on and we were kept up part of the night.
