Fantastic rail trail we rode from Leongatha through to Port Welshpool with stops in between just a fantastic trail, this is our 3rd time and stayed local overnight, just a great weekend. The total distance is around 70-75 kms depending on what internet site you read. Further details about this ride including waypoints and elevation are available on cyclewayz. The trail is now continuous with a well-maintained surface, and is well signposted, with lots to see and do en route, from the quaint towns like Fish Creek, Foster and Port Welshpool, art galleries, and fine old pubs, to the great new bridges to replace the old railway bridges, and wonderful vistas of nearby Wilson's Prom.
I recommend the trail if you are fit enough and like the idea of slow tourism.
