The Scriptures are the way by which we learn about Jesus, the Way. We do well to remember that Jesus says that He, Jesus, is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Nobody else is “The Life”. “And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness... “There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death”, [Indicating there is another far better way, leading to life.
What they unveil is often unpleasant. Let us pattern our lives after Jesus, abide in Him, and be saved! Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Such will receive beautiful life unending (1John 1:7, 5:11-13). So it's well worth thinking about the way, the truth, and the life. Christianity is based upon the Person of Jesus and the “good news,” the Gospel, of His life, death, resurrection, ascension, lordship, and ultimate return (Acts 2:36, 1 Corinthians 15:3-8). He encourages them to believe in God and in Him, trusting that He is going away to prepare a place for them and will return to receive them to Himself (John 14:1-3). Verify the Truth and the Way and the Life by His Word and not by man’s opinion. Jesus is the one Way, because only through him comes grace and truth. Jesus does not consider truth to be an abstract or relative matter. They provide the means to the end and are not the end in and of themselves. Jesus is the one and only way because "Christ was sacrificed once to bear the sins of many..." (Hebrews 9:28). The Way, the Truth, and the Life. That was case at the beginning of church and the same is the case today (Acts 9:2; 19:9, 23). According to the promise, the blood of Jesus Christ takes away the sins of those who believe in him and follow Christ’s word. Those words meant so much more to people of his day.
Immediately he could see! Change requires identification, confession, and repentance. The truth is in God’s mind.
Each person is required to work out their own salvation with fear and trembling and to study to show thyself approved. (John 16:23; Romans 5:8) Hence, only through Jesus can we have an approved relationship with God. (1 John 2:25) If God says it then do it! When Jesus says “truth” he means his Father’s word (John 17:17). And that is why “many are called but few are chosen” because strait is the gate and narrow is the Way that leads to eternal life which few find and broad is the way that leads to destruction. In John 8:58, Jesus declares that before Abraham was born, I am, and the Jews picked up stones to stone Him for blasphemy (John 8:59). “I am the way and the truth and the life. Is it possible that the original Greek translated, "I am the way, the truth, and the life" in John 14:6 actually says, "I am a way, a truth, and a life"? Christians are often criticized for claiming that Jesus is the only way to God. That Way is Jesus and his word of truth. There are still those that claim to believe but refuse the Gospel Way. Here are just a few such verses... “And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness...(Isaiah 35:8).
"I am the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6). No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6 NIV) 2) Response in prayer & praise: Aramaic Bible in Plain English Yeshua said to him, “I AM THE LIVING GOD, The Way and The Truth and The Life; no man comes to my Father but by me alone.” If ye had known me, ye would have known my Father also: from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him” (John 14:5-7). Celebrate! If Jesus’ claim to be the Way and the Life were false, it would hardly be a comfort to us or worth hearing. Why not rather follow the crowds and take the easy road? It is not meant to convey that Jesus is one way among many as is often said. ], “Thus says the Lord: stand in the ways, and see, and ask for the ancient paths where is the good way, and walk in it; then you shall find rest for your souls. “Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience” and those that disobey the Gospel which are conformed to this world are subject to God’s wrath (Ephesians 2:2, 5:6).
But it is also true, as Jesus says, that I am the way, the truth, and the life. God seeks those that worship in Spirit and in truth ( John 4:23-24).
