"Mowgli's Brothers," "Kaa's Hunting," and "Tiger-Tiger! “Letting in the Jungle” is an intense, vengeful tale that belies its label of children’s literature. Mowgli told him all his adventures from beginning to end, and Bagheera sniffed at the ankus between whiles. The top was one round, shining ruby, and twelve inches of the handle below it were studded with rough turquoises close together, giving a most satisfactory grip. Mowgli is shocked, especially when he finds that some of the men died of poison. Mowgli looks at Hathi and says he will tell a story of an old and wise elephant who fell into a trap and the sharp stakes cut him and hurt him. He is feverish and rests with her for a few days while she takes care of him. The wolves are impressed with Mowgli's feat, and … The sun drops low. Mowgli tells her she can see, but to keep out of sight. It is incomprehensible - gold coins, palanquins and litters, gilded idols, gems, diamond-hilted swords, combs, pots, and perfume bottles, and much more. As for the other tales, the most well-known is that of “Rikki-Tikki-Tavi,” the tale of a feisty and brave mongoose who is washed away from his parents during the rains and finds himself living in a house with an English family of three. The Mugger boasts that he is not proud and understands his fate. Living among the wolves in the jungle, young man cub Mowgli quickly learns to live life among his wolf pack and all the animals that inhabit the jungle, but when the villainous tiger Shere Khan threatens Mowgli's life, black panther Bagheera offers to take Mowgli to a nearby man village where he will be safe from the tiger's wrath.
